Using Poemotions as a starting point for this project, I wanted to create a poemotion on p5 with an animation.
This was very ambitious.
This is the animation that I wanted to use, of our classmates from last spring after their thesis presentations.
I divided all the frames and this is what the image turned into
I attempted to create this in p5, but ran into layering and masking issues that were also really slowing the sketch down. However, just from the mockup that I made in Illustrator, I realize that the details in the animation are too slight to be recognized in the moire.
So now I have to make an animation with more variation in movement and higher contrast...
