Working with the: Router!
I found an attractive piece of hardwood in the scrap bin, measuring 1.75" tall x 3.5" wide, and 17" long.

Given the limited shop hours this week, I wanted to keep my router project very simple. So I decided to turn this piece of wood into a literature stand!

I simply used the router table to mill a deep notch to hold a book, pamplet, postcard, or zine upright. Initially, I intended to cut the piece in half to have a pair of stands, but I liked the unusual length of the piece and decided to keep it whole.

Tada!
