I designed a simple plus shape with a lap joint to interlock with another plus shape to make a 3 dimensional plus shape in clear acrylic that I salvaged from the material shelf. Whee!
I was fortunate to have Bianca guide Christina and I through the process, which would have taken way longer to figure out on my own!
I milled the same shape twice but did not position the second cut / material properly and a teeny tiny bit was left out of the cut, but that's okay. It's just a little imperfect.
Each shape was a 12 minute mill which was not so bad to wait for. This was fun! I'm excited to make more shapes :)
