Sleep theater recalls thoughts about 24 hour plays and projects like DAU, in which it's nearly impossible to completely participate in without napping or taking a rest. I also think of emerging immersive theater pieces that are meditative and can be sleep inducing.


I've definitely slept through entire performances, regretfully. It's so much easier to fall asleep when popcorn isn't involved. Recently, I went to the Ketamine show at House of Yes, and was shocked when it ended. I was lulled into a trance and expected the show to go on for ages.
